Topic: How to glorify God The word “Glorify” is from the Greek word ‘Doxazo’ meaning To esteem. In literal theological terms, you cannot glorify God because Jesus is already glorified, but you can esteem Him in your life. You do this by prioritizing Him in worship, prayer, devotion, communication, association, and every area of your life. 📌You glorify God by demoting other things; keeping them in their place e.g, money, relationships, etc 📌Your love for God should be so high and mighty that what you feel for others is like ‘hate’ cause it doesn’t even come close. 📌To glorify God, you must ensure nothing else is competing for His place in your life. Why is this important? 📌It’s possible for people to prioritize or idolize pain. When we go through painful experiences, God is with us. Heb. 12:2 📍Here’s a better approach to this: 1. Take away your focus from the pain 2. Focus on the end - In Christ, every story ends well 3. Focus on God
