Drawing from Ephesians 3:14–16, he reminded us that what makes the Church the Church is the fellowship of believers, not the building.

Apostle went further to establish these 4 key indicators of the Church of Christ:

1️⃣ The Church is a family.

2️⃣ The Church is a family with spiritual ancestry because in Christ, nobody dies. (Ephesians 3:15)

3️⃣ The Church is a relay race, and we all have a race to run. (Hebrews 12:1)

4️⃣ Everyone in the Church has a race to run: God is not looking out for prophets alone, but for people of exemplary conduct in all aspect of life. (Hebrews 11:25)

Here are major points to note from the sermon:

📍 The witness of God is revealed in families, not just on platforms. Our contribution to the body of Christ might be expressed through the most ordinary tasks, such as being a good parent. (Hebrews 11:5)

📍 Ministry is Christ revealed in ordinary believers in the places He has put them. When each of us plays our part, we collectively influence real change.

📍 Righteousness is not just who you are, it’s what you do. (Proverbs 21:3)

📍 Our knowledge of God’s Word should influence how we live, do business, and participate in our civil responsibilities. (Matthew 5:23–24)

📍 Righteousness and justice go hand in hand. (Psalm 89:14)

As believers, our righteousness must go beyond the four walls of the Church.

It should be evident in how we live, conduct business, fulfil our responsibilities, and engage with the world around us.
