We were blessed by the teaching of our Apostle,.as he taught on the topic: “Training Your Mind for Supernatural Results.” 🔥 (Romans 4:20–21)
He began by sharing with us that faith cannot be measured in a single moment. It is a way of life that expresses itself in moments of action.
What is Faith?
Faith is coming to a point of rest and trust regarding the power of God in certain areas of your life. It is steadfastness… a settled place you have arrived at, based on who God is and what He is capable of.
It’s a place where no argument or difficult circumstance can change what you know about Him.
That is the faith life.
Points To Note ✍🏾
📍 God judges faith by consistency. He looks at the totality of your trust and what you consistently believe, regardless of the challenge.
📍 God gives us personal history with Him. He has a track record in your life that your circumstances cannot cancel. What He has already done is evidence enough for what He will do.
📍 You do not need personal evidence to believe that God can move in your situation. If He did it before, He can do it again. That’s proof of possibility.
📍 To serve God consistently, you will need a new mind. God wants every part of you… including your thinking, surrendered to Him. Even in conditions that are not pleasant, it takes a trained mind to obey the Word of God and act in faith.
How Do You Build This Kind of Conviction? ✍🏽
📍 Through the smaller things God has done for you.
Every time God came through, He was training your heart to believe Him for the next thing.
That is the very fabric of faith.
So that when the mountain stands in front of you and you open your mouth to speak, that declaration is not coming from nowhere. It is coming from a track record. He has been faithful in times past. He will not fail now.
📍 Through the testimonies of others.
You don’t need to have experienced it personally to believe or stand on it. Someone else’s breakthrough is enough proof that the same God who moved for them is more than able to move for you.
In Conclusion:
Faith is steadfastness. You build it by staying consistent in what you believe about God.
Think back on what He has done. Retrain your mind and stand on the testimonies.
The God who has never failed you once is not about to start now.
