📌 No guaranteed strategy makes a year better, except if the Lord wills. We may plan to do this or that, but it is not in a man’s power to direct his own steps. Our lives are ultimately guided and sustained by God.
📌 Trusting in the Lord is a strategy. Psalm 20:7 reminds us that some trust in chariots and horses, but we choose to trust in the name of the Lord our God. Our strength, wisdom, and intelligence alone did not bring us this far but God did.
📌 God’s faithfulness in the past is our conviction for the future. The same God who fed a generation with bread for forty years continues to perform miracles today.
📌 We must build a devotional system that helps us remember God’s goodness, because His goodness is replicable. Creating intentional moments, such as memorials to celebrate what God has done, helps us sustain the miracles He gives.
📌 Ebenezer means “Stone of Help,” and this is God’s word for us in the year 2026. Our help comes from God alone and from no other source.
What does Ebenezer represent?
• Thanksgiving – Acknowledging all God has done and thanking Him in advance for what He will yet do.
• Genuine devotion and repentance – Allowing God to work on our hearts while maintaining a consistent devotional life.
• Boundary markers – Making fresh decisions and setting clear boundaries for our consecration.
• Prophecy – Just as God spoke to our fathers, beginning with Abraham, His word to us remains sure and eternal.
