Final Authority of the Scripture

Here are a few key points from the teaching:

📌 The Word is our standard The Word of God serves as our guide and reference point in every area of life (Psalm 119:105).

📌 A burden for the body of Christ: As believers, we must be concerned about the suffering of Christians around the world. * The commonwealth of the Kingdom calls us into unity. * We are called to care for and stand with one another (1 Corinthians 12:25–26)

📌 Identity above passions Our desires should not define us: * Our identity is rooted in Christ (Galatians 2:20) * The Gospel remains the ultimate authority in faith and practice.

Nothing contrary to Scripture should be binding on a believer * The Word stands as our final authority (Isaiah 8:20) * Culture must not override truth (Romans 12:2)

📌 The danger of weak convictions: Without strong convictions, believers can easily be swayed. * We must remain grounded in truth (Ephesians 4:14)

📌 Truth with compassion We are called to reflect both truth and love: * Show compassion, just as Jesus did (Matthew 9:36) * While remaining firm in the truth of the Gospel.

📌 Confidence in the Word The Word of God remains living and powerful, able to stand the test of time.
